* David Ragan has never competed at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
* Ragan has competed on three different 2.5+ mile tracks during the 2007 season: Daytona, Talladega and Pocono. His best finish coming at Daytona where he ended the race in fifth place.
* A Raybestos Rookie has finished in the top-10 in each of the past eight consecutive NEXTEL Cup Series races at Indianapolis.
* Ragan has been the top finishing rookie in eight of 21 races in the 2007 season.
* Ragan is currently 22nd in the NEXTEL Cup Series Championship point standings and is second in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year race. He trails Juan Pablo Montoya by 14 points.
